Describe the biggest challenge faced by your company in the past year and how you overcame it: 2021 and 2022 coming on the heels of the pandemic were some of the most explosive years of growth companies had seen in the past 20-plus years. Consequently, hiring naturally slowed this past year, and as a staffing company, we felt the effects. We focused on what we’re good at — which is building relationships with people over making deals — and we doubled down on planning for the future. The labor market continuously shifts, but companies always need good people, and we are always invested in the growth of our clients, employees, candidates and our business.
What’s next for your company’s expansion plans or growth strategy? We are looking forward to growing our service offerings in direct hire, interim solutions, and executive leadership search in Minnesota. Our new service offerings will allow us to capitalize on our relationships with executives in HR, finance and accounting, and other areas of expertise.
What’s a growing company you admire? Arctic Wolf is a cutting-edge cybersecurity company that operates globally. I admire that they’ve found ways to operate in a fast-paced and virtual environment, while still maintaining a strong company culture. That balance, I believe, is very important and not easy to accomplish.
