March 9th, 2016 – Versique announced today the launch of its fifth annual professional clothing drive in support of local non-profit, Dress for Success Twin Cities. The clothing drive will run now through May 4th, and will conclude with a celebratory happy hour to be held at The Metropolitan Ballroom. The evening is open to the public and includes hors d’oeuvres, networking, live music, and a variety of activities including a silent auction, wine pull, raffle items, and more!

Women’s professionals clothing donations for the drive are accepted at Versique’s offices from now through May 4th. The office is located at 6465 Wayzata Blvd, Suite 970, Minneapolis MN 55426, and is open from 8am – 5pm every weekday. Dress for Success accepts donations of professional women’s attire from the current season including: blazers, blouses, skirts, slacks, dresses, sweaters, shoes, handbags, accessories, jewelry, coats, new/unused undergarments, and new/unused cosmetics. Regrettably, the following donations cannot be accepted: non-interview appropriate attire, sportswear or causal clothes, eveningwear, used undergarments, cosmetics, and pantyhose. For the first time, we will also be accepting donations of men’s professional clothing to be given to the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans.
Financial donations are welcomed either online at our event fundraiser page or by check. Checks can be made out to “Dress for Success Twin Cities” and can be sent to Versique’s office or delivered the evening of the Dress for Success Happy Hour.
Last year’s drive resulted in guests generously donating more than 90 bags of clothing, as well as seven full clothing racks of women’s professional attire. In addition to clothing donations, the event raised nearly $4,000 of financial donations from the silent action, raffle, and other events held at the happy hour.
