As Vice President, you will develop and execute the strategic vision for Versique's IT search practice that is aligned with the organization's overall growth goals. You will build meaningful relationships with clients and candidates. In addition to your personal production, you will enhance Versique's presence in the marketplace through a variety of activities and be seen as the face of the IT search practice.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for the IT search practice
  • Proactively engage in the marketplace to cultivate long-lasting relationships that generate search opportunities for the entire team while serving as the primary representative of the IT practice
  • Recruit and attract tenured and experienced IT full-desk recruiters
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics for the team, analyzing recruitment metrics to drive improvemen
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships to understand their current IT hiring needs
  • Design and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top IT talent, leveraging various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction for the entire team
  • Function as an intermediary between clients and candidates during the interview process to effectively respond to issues and concerns
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with the other practice areas within Versique to ensure the firm's continued success and fulfillment of core values


To excel in this role, you bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Ten plus years of experience in sales, staffing and recruiting or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • A strong understanding of the IT industry, including trends, technologies, and talent acquisition challenges
  • A proven track record of recruiting and building teams that drive business growth
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment processes
  • A proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software

Location: St. Louis Park, MN

Schedule: Onsite/Hybrid- the office is open Monday through Friday. Employees may take advantage of the hybrid work schedule by working remotely Monday and Friday while working onsite Tuesday through Thursday.

 

Salary: Compensation for this role will consist of a base salary ranging from $80k to $100k (depending on skills and experience), bonus, and uncapped commissions.  $200k anticipated total comp year 1, $250-$300k year 2.
