The principal role of the Deposit Development Officer is originating/sourcing deposits to help drive the continued growth of the Bank. This is a highly visible and key role within the bank. It is primarily a sales function, and compensation is comprised of a base salary with the opportunity to earn substantial compensation from an incentive bonus tied to deposit goals. Candidates will have previous success in sourcing and closing deposit prospects, developing strong business relationships, and working with bank cash management professionals to meet customer banking needs.
It is essential that the Deposit Development Officer has a strong Center of Influence and continues to build their circle by networking with small businesses, nonprofit organizations, professional services firms including accounting and law firms, title companies, and individual deposit customers. The Deposit Development Officer will continue to retain the client within their book of business with a focus on deepening the relationship and referring other banking opportunities to the cash management/business banking team.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 Base Salary (Est.)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Generate business by meeting deposit prospects, networking, attending community and charitable events, engaging in professional organizations, and further developing your Center of Influence
- Maintain established market presence and grow network of referral sources for new deposits
- Generate new leads, onboard new deposit clients, and grow existing deposit relationships
- Function as a key point of contact for current accounts to cultivate and maintain these customer relationships by understanding their deposit and cash management needs
- Collaborate with other areas of the Bank including cash management, deposit operations, and commercial lending to help cross sell products and services
- Provide ongoing updates on activities and progress toward established goals
- Comply with the Bank’s policies and procedures
- Comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations
- Demonstrate team collaboration
- Cultivate positive work environment
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven strong deposit origination capabilities with a minimum of 5+ years of experience
- Demonstrated ability to expand network, cultivate new and ongoing business relationships, and provide exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and people skills
