Technical Financial Analyst (Workday) (ID:46196)
A fast-paced, technology-first organization offering tremendous upward growth opportunities is looking to hire an up-and-coming Technical Financial Analyst skilled with Workday to aid in data configuration, integration, integrity, and reporting solutions.

The Operations and Process Improvement team manages and maintains the technical infrastructure supporting the company’s ERP and Accounting systems.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with finance teams to gather and define functional requirements related to data, system configuration, integrations, and user interface needs, translating them into technical solutions.
  • Configure and design Workday reporting solutions specifically within the finance function.
  • Handle production support for financial systems by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Oversee quality control, create test plans, manage testing activities, and ensure compliance with system stabilization protocols.
  • Develop training materials and documentation for any system or process changes, ensuring users are well-equipped to adapt.
  • Effectively communicate changes in systems or processes to users with different levels of technical expertise.
  • Act as a champion for finance technology solutions, staying informed on emerging tools and trends that may benefit the organization.
  • Identify and recommend business process improvements, leveraging technology and process optimizations.
  • Provide first-level support by troubleshooting Workday Finance-related systems and application issues.
  • Analyze financial data in Workday and other relevant applications, addressing any data integrity concerns related to current and new systems or solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, MIS, or a closely related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with Workday Business Processes.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience supporting Workday Financials
  • Proven track record in managing day-to-day operations in Banking and Settlement or Inventory and Procurement modules.
