We seek a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer (player/coach –NOT a people manager) with significant expertise within Azure Cloud architecture to lead a team of Infrastructure Specialists within Azure, Windows/Linux, SQL, Infrastructure, etc. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure systems, manage complex cloud and on-premise environments, ensure smooth deployments, upgrades, and performance optimization across the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Mentor and support IT team members.
- Infrastructure Design: Develop scalable infrastructure solutions aligned with business goals.
- Deployment & Implementation: Oversee projects involving Azure, Windows, Linux, hardware, networking, and databases.
- Automation: Implement automation tools using SRE and DevOps principles.
- System Management: Ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance of systems.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years in infrastructure design and implementation.
- 5+ years in Azure cloud and Microsoft server environments.
- Experience in automation, scripting (PowerShell, Ansible), and SRE practices.
- Linux experience and knowledge of network technologies, SharePoint, M365, SQL, and backup solutions preferred.
