Our client is a global leader specializing in custom screening and filtration solutions across various industries, including water wells, chemical processing, mining, agriculture, and power. Their expertise extends to environmental and municipal water applications, refining, and food and beverage processing. They seek an experienced leader to take this business to the next level.

With operations in over 100 countries, this exciting company manufactures stainless steel and PVC well screens, malting and brewing screens, and industrial filtration products.

As Operations Manager, you will drive operational excellence and foster a culture that embraces being better & bolder. You will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality while aligning with our core values of doing the right thing, open-mindedness, competence, confidence, collaboration, integrity, and delivering results. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all manufacturing, quality, safety, planning, and personnel at the manufacturing facility.

Direct Reports include Manufacturing Supervisors and Managers, Planning Managers, Quality and HSE Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Production Personnel.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operations team focusing on True North—ensuring all processes are aligned with the company's strategic goals and operational standards.
  • Manage Manufacturing Factory P&L and own cost-reduction processes.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and quality, demonstrating better & bolder thinking in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, competence, and confidence by guiding and mentoring team members to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Ensure all production activities meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies reflects our commitment to doing the right thing.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to achieve and surpass company targets and ensure consistent results.
  • Develop and utilize proper metrics for measuring performance in the areas of quality, cost management, capacity management, operational efficiency, on-time delivery, and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as HSE, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth coordination of manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate and maintain appropriate levels of inventory while responsible for on-time shipment.
  • Review analysis of activities, costs, and operations data to determine facility progress toward established goals and objectives.
  • Apply integrity and open-mindedness when analyzing operational challenges and developing innovative solutions to improve processes.
  • Oversee resource allocation, budget management, and workforce planning to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely product delivery while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
  • Support and manage the Quality System and comply with all requirements of the operating and technical procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10 + years of proven experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • 5 + years managing P&L, analyzing data, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven knowledge of production processes, continuous improvement techniques, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Proficient in using MS Office and ERP systems.
  • 7 + years of proven Project Management experience in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.

Salary: 120-160K-DOQ
