Located north of Minneapolis, this great company offers creative and innovative product development of demilitarization, alternative fuel, and chemical processing for custom solutions to its customers worldwide. 

Our client is a government contractor required to employ only U.S. Citizens. Employees may be subjected to random drug and alcohol testing and a background check.  

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • SolidWorks modeling of vessels, mechanical devices, automation equipment, conveyance equipment, piping systems, steel structures, etc.
  • Drafting of prints for steel fabrication (e.g. steel chemical process vessels, piping systems, and steel structures) 
  • Experience in the layout of chemical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Candidates must have a 2-year Associate's Degree in Engineering Drafting and Design (or equivalent) and 2-5 years of work experience in mechanical design utilizing SolidWorks in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience with 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks 
  • A Certified SolidWorks Professional certificate is not required but is preferred
  • Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products.
  • Traveling to U.S. project sites is not routine for this position but may be required occasionally

Salary:  $70-90k/yr DOQ
Position: Onsite
