Our exciting client is seeking an experienced SolidWorks Mechanical Designer for their Engineering team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

SolidWorks modeling of vessels, mechanical devices, automation equipment, conveyance equipment, piping systems, steel structures, etc
Drafting of prints for steel fabrication (e.g. steel chemical process vessels, piping systems, and steel structures)
Experience in the layout of chemical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)

Required Skills & Experience:

Candidates must have a 2-year Associate's Degree in Engineering Drafting and Design (or equivalent) and 2-5 years of work experience in mechanical design utilizing SolidWorks in a relevant field
2+ years of experience with 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks.
A Certified SolidWorks Professional certificate is not required but is preferred
Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
