The Manufacturing Engineer will utilize their knowledge of lean principles to help develop strategies and lead improvement activities across operations. This role is responsible for improving and sustaining production efficiencies while achieving Safety, Quality, and operational performance goals.

This is an onsite position.

Salary range: 105-135k DOQ with full benefits package

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of new and existing manufacturing processes, incorporating automation where necessary. 
  • Drive the research, justification for, and implementation of capital investments. 
  • Create and maintain product bill of materials and routings. 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • B.S. in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field, four years of degree from an accredited university, five plus years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Experience with automation in a tight-tolerance machining environment. 
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles and tools. 
  • Experience in a high-precision machining environment: CNC Lathes, 5-axis Milling, Wire EDM, Precision Grinding (Rotary, ID/OD)
  • Desired experience in automation solutions, machining centers with pallet systems, as well as robotics applications.
