As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan for the HR Professional search practice within Versique that aligns with the HR Solutions' and broader organization's growth goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the HR landscape, strong business acumen, and the ability to cultivate relationships at the highest levels with both clients and candidates. In addition to your production and production of your team, you will be responsible for enhancing Versique's presence in the marketplace through various activities and as a leader within the HR Solutions practice.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for the HR Professional search practice in partnership with the President.
  • Proactively engage in the marketplace to cultivate long-lasting relationships that generate opportunities for the entire HR Solutions team while serving as the primary representative of the HR Professional practice.
  • Represent Versique as a thought leader in the HR community through networking, industry events, speaking engagements, and content creation.
  • Develop organization structure and build a team of HR recruiters.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics for the team, analyzing recruitment metrics to drive improvement.
  • Stay informed about HR trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with other practice areas across Versique to leverage synergies and enhance service offerings, leading to the firm's continued success and fulfillment of core values.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships to understand their current and upcoming HR hiring needs.
  • Design and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top HR talent, leveraging various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction for the entire team.

To excel in this role, you have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of HR experience
  • 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of the HR industry, trends, and talent market
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams that drive business growth
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment processes
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software

Location: St. Louis Park, MN

Schedule: Onsite/Hybrid- the office is open Monday through Friday. Employees may take advantage of the hybrid work schedule by working remotely Monday and Friday while working onsite Tuesday through Thursday.

Salary: Compensation for this role will consist of a base salary of $100k, bonus opportunities, and uncapped commissions.  Total compensation in first year anticipated to be $250k+
