Join a dynamic organization as a Senior Compensation Consultant to lead the implementation of compensation strategies. Facilitate impactful conversations and develop innovative solutions that align teams with new pay structures.

A progressive organization is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to lead key initiatives, including finalizing the 2025 market adjustment and preparing 2026 salary adjustments for budgeting. This role will be critical in aligning compensation strategies, training leaders, and driving organizational change. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in facilitating complex conversations and collaborating with diverse teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Worksite Location: Brooklyn Center, MN – Hybrid (onsite as needed). Only Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Finalize 2025 market adjustments, working closely with internal HR teams and external vendors to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design the 2026 market adjustment framework, integrating comprehensive data analysis to guide budgeting decisions effectively.
  • Train and coach leaders to conduct meaningful compensation discussions, building confidence and consistency across departments.
  • Develop and implement detailed rollout plans, ensuring employees and council members are informed through appropriate communication channels.
  • Collaborate with the Compensation & Benefits Manager, HR Generalist, and Administrator to align project milestones with broader organizational objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for implementing pay structures and addressing employee concerns.
  • Facilitate conversations and workshops with leadership teams to address compensation challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in compensation analysis, market adjustments, and pay structure implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex discussions at the director or executive level, with strong facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience designing and executing large-scale rollout and communication plans for compensation changes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Neogov (Government HR technology) and JD Edwards or the ability to quickly adapt to similar platforms.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to translate metrics into actionable strategies for decision-makers.
  • Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally in diverse and inclusive environments.
  • High level of organizational and project management expertise, capable of balancing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
