An innovative and growth-focused organization is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to lead the development and administration of compensation strategies that align with business goals. This role will provide key expertise on compensation issues, perform complex analysis, and partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders to ensure competitive and compliant compensation practices.

Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN – Hybrid. Only Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the administration of the annual compensation process, including merit increases, incentive payout calculations, and related communications
  • Provide expert guidance and support to HRBPs and business leaders on compensation issues, market analysis for new roles, promotions, and retention strategies
  • Conduct complex analyses to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with compensation laws (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay)
  • Develop recommendations for compensation program enhancements, including base pay, incentive pay, and overall plan design
  • Summarize findings and present actionable recommendations to HR and business leaders
  • Produce workforce analytics, audit compensation data, and identify trends affecting the organization
  • Manage survey participation, review results, and integrate data into the CompAnalyst tool for market pricing
  • Support additional projects as needed, focusing on continuous improvement and strategic compensation initiatives

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, with 7+ years of experience in compensation management
  • Expertise in compensation analysis, including market pricing, pay structure design, and incentive program management
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in data analysis, compensation modeling, and workforce analytics
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FLSA, Equal Pay, and other relevant wage laws and regulations
  • Strong consultative skills, with the ability to build credibility and effectively communicate with management and HR partners
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting sales incentive plans is highly preferred
