Our client seeks a detail-oriented and adaptable Payroll & Benefits Manager to support a team during a period of transition. This interim role will be critical in ensuring seamless payroll processing and benefits administration while optimizing systems for efficiency. If you excel in managing complex payroll structures and have substantial experience in benefits administration, this could be a great fit.

Worksite Location: Minneapolis, MN – Hybrid. Only Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee payroll processing for a diverse employee base, including part-time, full-time, union, and non-union employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and internal policies.
  • Administer and manage employee benefit programs, including enrollment, eligibility tracking, and vendor coordination.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for payroll and benefits inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Partner with leadership to identify and implement payroll and benefits administration process improvements.
  • Leverage HRIS systems to optimize workflows, streamline reporting, and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing complex payroll processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong background in benefits administration and vendor management.
  • Ability to navigate HRIS platforms, with experience in Paylocity preferred.
  • Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to team transitions smoothly.
