We seek an Interim Payroll & Benefits Consultant to join a dynamic organization undergoing significant change. As a key player in the payroll department, you will oversee multi-state payroll operations for 700 employees. This role offers a unique opportunity to successfully implement an HRIS system while supporting benefits administration during open enrollment. Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN – Hybrid 2-3 days a week onsite; ONLY Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute multi-state payroll processes for 700 employees, ensuring compliance and precision.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in transitioning from ADP to Bamboo HR, to facilitate a successful HRIS implementation.
- Collaborate with the HR generalist to manage benefits administration and support open enrollment efforts.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure continuity of operations before the Payroll Manager's departure.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and leadership on payroll and benefits initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in executing multi-state payroll, preferably with ADP.
- Strong expertise in HRIS systems, with a track record of managing transitions, particularly from ADP to Bamboo HR.
- Knowledge of benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a changing environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration with HR and finance teams.
