A dynamic organization seeks an Interim L&D Instructional Designer to develop leadership training programs and create impactful learning experiences. This role will focus on career pathing, updating job leveling guides, and designing performance management training within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Worksite Location: Edina, MN – Hybrid. Only Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and design leadership development training focusing on leadership development.
- Create participant and facilitator guides for instructor-led training (ILT) sessions.
- Review and update existing career pathing frameworks while developing new structures where needed.
- Collaborate with plant managers, HR professionals, and leadership to align training initiatives with business needs.
- Identify additional training opportunities and incorporate key leadership competencies such as conflict resolution, feedback strategies, and emotional intelligence into course designs.
- Ensure all learning materials align with best practices in adult learning and instructional design.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in instructional design and leadership training development.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial environments with an understanding of plant operations and workforce training needs.
- Ability to create career pathing frameworks and performance management tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience facilitating or designing instructor-led training (ILT) focusing on leadership development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with diverse teams.
