The Interim HR Specialist will oversee recruitment activities, manage office operations, and collaborate closely with leadership during maternity leave coverage. This role requires expertise in talent acquisition, from candidate sourcing and screening to interview scheduling and onboarding, while also handling day-to-day office logistics such as supplies and ad hoc tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 

Worksite Location: Edina, MN – Onsite; only Minnesota based candidates will be considered. 

Salary Range: Hourly rate between $32 - $40, depending on experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct candidate screenings and interviews and manage the onboarding process.
• Maintain and update candidate records in the HR system.
• Oversee office operations, including managing supplies and running errands (e.g., purchasing snacks, office needs).
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth office functionality.
• Work closely with the CRO and VPs to support HR and anticipate team needs.
• Foster a positive employee experience by maintaining high levels of professionalism and communication.
• Navigate shifting priorities in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Proactively address challenges, leveraging curiosity and problem-solving skills. 

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Office Management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and with accountability.
• Familiarity with HR systems and candidate management processes.
• High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
