As an Interim HR Generalist, you will provide comprehensive HR support to an evolving team, helping manage day-to-day HR responsibilities and ensuring seamless operations. The successful candidate will be the right-hand support for the HR Leader, proactively addressing a range of HR functions, from employee relations and benefits administration to onboarding and compliance.

Worksite Location: St. Paul, MN – Onsite; ONLY Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage a broad spectrum of HR inquiries and assist employees with their HR-related questions.
• Administer HR programs such as leaves of absence, benefits, compensation, and employee relations.
• Assist with onboarding, new hire administration, and ad hoc recruiting efforts.
• Maintain employee data and ensure accuracy within the HRIS.
• Support HR auditing, troubleshooting, and compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Apply best HR practices aligned with company objectives, ensuring all processes run smoothly.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience covering a range of HR functions (employee relations, benefits, onboarding, etc.).
• Proven ability to jump in quickly, work independently, and make an immediate impact.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Confident and proactive in managing day-to-day tasks and employee interactions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience in social services or similar industry is a plus but not required.
