A dynamic organization is seeking an Employee Relations Consultant to provide expert guidance on workplace concerns, policy compliance, and HR best practices. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of employee relations, workplace investigations, and employment compliance.
Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN - Hybrid. Seeking Minnesota based candidates.
Salary Range: Hourly rate between $42-$50, depending on experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance to employees and managers on performance concerns, workplace conduct, complaints, and other HR-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, including EEO filings, affirmative action, I-9 audits, and wage/hour regulations.
- Collaborate with HRBPs, Total Rewards, and Recruiting to manage policy updates, process improvements, and compliance training initiatives.
- Review HR operations for risk mitigation, making recommendations to strengthen policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date on federal, state, and local employment regulations and advise on necessary adjustments to policies and HR practices.
- Analyze employee relations data to identify trends, develop proactive strategies, and improve workplace culture.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on employee relations experience, including workplace investigations and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws such as FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and state-specific labor regulations.
- Experience working in mid-to-large organizations, balancing multiple priorities and providing data-driven HR solutions.
- Excellent decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex employee concerns.
- Proficiency in HR systems and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
