We seek a dynamic Interim Employee Relations Consultant to join a growing HR team for a 6+ month contract. In this role, you will support leadership in navigating employee relations (ER) issues, provide in-the-moment coaching to developing leaders, and help address sensitive performance management situations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-growth environment, assist with leadership development, mitigate ER issues, and contribute to reducing turnover.  

Worksite Location: Plymouth, MN –Onsite; ONLY Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues, with a focus on mitigating risks and de-escalating conflicts. 
  • Coach managers and develop leaders to handle sensitive performance management issues. 
  • Assist with workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices. 
  • Identify trends in employee relations and recommend proactive solutions to reduce turnover and improve employee engagement. 
  • Help standardize processes around employee relations to improve consistency across the organization. 
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to support leadership development initiatives. 
  • Utilize Paylocity and Monday board to track and manage employee relations issues. 

 

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations. 
  • Ability to coach and develop leadership in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion. 
  • Creative problem solver with a calm, compassionate leadership style. 
  • Industry experience in property management, real estate, or construction is a plus. 
  • Familiarity with HR technology platforms like Paylocity and Monday board.
