Join a full-service CPA and Business Advisory firm as an HR Manager. They offer a complete complement of accounting and business advisory, attest, consulting, tax, bookkeeping, and transaction advisory services. 

The client is looking for an experienced human capital professional with responsibility for managing internal human resource functions.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Delivers HR practices and programs in support of business operations, providing day-to-day HR guidance.
  • Manages the development and implementation of local policies and procedures with regard to HR.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues as appropriate. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations as needed.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • In consultation with the CEO, manage BWK's annual performance review process.
  • Provide guidance and input on business restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • In consultation with the CEO and Shareholders, manage compensation and benefit practices.
  • In consultation with the CEO, maintain and update the Employee Handbook.
  • Manage the Firm's recruiting efforts for experienced personnel, college graduates, and interns.

Worksite Location: Maple Grove, MN. Hybrid.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 a year.

They also offer monetary incentives and employee and client referrals. A bonus is snacks and dinner during tax season.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strong, trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
  • Manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to understand human resource issues and communicate effectively with internal team members.
  • Be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Be self-directed and motivated.
  • Take initiative to identify and anticipate team member needs and make recommendations for implementation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR.
  • A minimum of 2 years of HR management experience.
