We seek candidates who can utilize their skills and experience to build on our client's reputation for responsiveness and support a growing portfolio of products and product features. This exciting role will manage the building of machine tool equipment and coordinate the installation and service of products. The successful candidate has the opportunity to develop systems further and ensure consistently high levels of service delivery.

 

Salary range: $120-150k DOQ - full benefits package

This is an on-site position, other than when travel is required

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate installation, training, and service delivery to customers both at the customer site and remotely. 
  • Support field service activities by ensuring the service technician and customer have all materials and information required for a successful installation or service visit. 
  • Manage and perform product assembly, installation, training, and service. 
  • Provide training to service technicians. 
  • Communicate with customers in a professional and timely manner. 
  • Provide technical support for marketing and selling activities. 
  • Provide input on product improvements, new features, or products that would further contribute to our customer's success. 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2-year technical degree required (Advanced degree preferred)
  • 10+ years experience in a service role within a manufacturing environment 
  • High level of electro-mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with assembly and installations
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and schematics
  • Experience with extremely tight tolerance machining
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30 % of the time nationally and internationally by airplane and/or car and sometimes on short notice. Travel may be (2) weeks long in some cases. 
  • Must possess a US Passport. 
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
