Our client seeks a motivated and results-driven Deposit Development Officer to expand their deposit base and build strong relationships within the community. This individual will identify and secure new deposit opportunities, cultivate relationships with businesses and individuals, and drive overall deposit growth through innovative strategies.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 Base Salary (Est.)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new deposits from businesses, municipalities, nonprofits, and individuals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers to understand their financial needs.
- Partner with internal teams, including retail and business banking, to promote deposit products and cross-sell services.
- Conduct outreach efforts, including networking events, community engagement, and industry-specific prospecting.
- Analyze market trends and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for deposit growth.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations and policies related to deposit accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service and act as a trusted financial partner within the community.
Required Skills & Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in banking, sales, or business development, preferably focusing on deposits.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse customer base.
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
- Familiarity with the Minnesota banking market and local community engagement strategies is a plus.
