We seek a detail-oriented Data Integration Specialist to join the Data & Analytics team. This role will focus on ensuring the quality and accuracy of data during acquisitions and loading data into internal source systems. The successful candidate will be critical in integrating data from various sources into our data warehouse, ensuring that the systems support robust data analytics and business decision-making.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Data Integration: Manage and execute data integration from various external sources and acquisitions into internal source systems, ensuring seamless data flow and minimal disruption.
- Data Quality Assurance: Perform data quality checks to ensure that the data being integrated is accurate, complete, and meets the company's standards before loading into internal systems.
- ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to automate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
- Data Mapping & Transformation: Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data mapping and transformation logic to meet those needs.
- Data Governance: Implement data governance practices to ensure data integration processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot data integration issues, ensuring timely resolution to maintain the integrity and reliability of data systems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers, database administrators, and business units to ensure successful data integration that supports business objectives.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of data integration processes, data flows, and mappings to support ongoing operations and future projects.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in data integration, data quality, ETL development, or related roles.
- Three or more years of experience working with data from various platform sources.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts
- Experience with data integration and ETL tools, preferably in an Azure environment.
- Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and data quality practices.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, and subject-matter experts
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
