Our exciting client seeks a Data Integration Specialist to join our Acquisition Data Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration, with experience in collecting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data from various external sources into internal systems. The Data Integration Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data. The primary focus of this position will be developing a long-term strategy for intake, processing, cleansing, and loading of acquisition data.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and objectives.
- Identify and collect data from external sources such as databases, APIs, and file systems.
- Clean, transform, and standardize data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Develop and maintain data integration pipelines and workflows.
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Optimize data integration processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Document data integration processes and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data integration and data management.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Java.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and database concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
