Seeking a visionary Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to drive strategic HR initiatives during this period of rapid growth.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CHRO will be critical in shaping the organization's culture, talent management, and overall HR strategy. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead the HR function, ensuring alignment with ambitious goals and values.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy to support States Manufacturing's growth trajectory and operational objectives.
- Build metrics and KPIs to measure HR success and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on talent, culture, organizational development, and compensation and benefits strategy.
Talent Management
- Drive talent acquisition strategy to meet aggressive hiring goals (135+ new hires in 2025).
- Implement robust interviewing, onboarding, talent development, and retention strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent.
- Oversee organizational structure management and partner with Finance to ensure hiring metrics align with budget management.
- Lead leadership development initiatives, executive coaching, and succession planning.
Employee Relations & Culture
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, from the executive suite to the manufacturing floor.
- Partner with union leadership to strengthen positive labor relations, preparing for contract renewal in 2026.
- Oversee and provide strategic guidance to HR team members responsible for day-to-day HR deliverables, ensuring seamless execution across the organization.
Operational Excellence
- Establish scalable HR processes, systems, and policies to support growth and operational efficiency.
- Strategize and deploy HR teams across multiple locations, addressing unique challenges and ensuring consistency in HR practices.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, focusing on safety and employee well-being.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and overall satisfaction.
- Ability to demonstrate evidence of complex problem-solving with a team
Safety Culture Integration
- Partner with leadership to integrate HR into the organization's safety culture, supporting the deployment of a newly developed Safety Blueprint.
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy around key partnerships with recruitment teams versus internal organizational buildouts to optimize talent acquisition.
- Utilize advanced data analytics skills to drive insights and inform strategic decisions.
- Experience in managing data extraction & report design in an HRIS to provide leadership with facts & insights about employee population.
- Oversee regulatory training programs and ensure clear and effective communication of compliance responsibilities across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in manufacturing and unionized environments.
- Proven track record of scaling HR operations and supporting high-growth organizations.
- Expertise in talent management, leadership development, data analytics, and labor relations.
- Experience in navigating complex problem-solving scenarios with critical thinking.
