As a journeyman electrician, you'll find this senior estimator role fulfilling, with responsibilities including reviewing project plans, preparing accurate estimates, and managing bid pricing, all within a supportive, family-owned environment. You'll have the chance to lead and organize a bid team, using your expertise to identify risks and opportunities and communicate effectively with management. Your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities will be highly valued.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to prepare estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor
- Create summaries that stay within budget and the scheduled time frame
- Managing bid pricing
- Organize the bid team and provide leadership and direction
- Understand risk and opportunities and communicate those to
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in the electrical estimating field
- Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinker with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing them.
- Detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills.
- An outstanding communicator, both orally and written.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
