We seek a skilled QA Automation Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our software testing and quality assurance processes. This position involves working closely with development teams to create, execute, and refine automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

- $50-65/hr pay rate

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Continuously refine and enforce IT quality assurance and test automation standards.
- Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts within an agile development team.
- Perform peer reviews of automation scripts to maintain code quality and efficiency.
- Track and communicate automation testing results and key QA metrics to stakeholders.
- Detect, document, and troubleshoot defects identified during automated testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve testing issues.
- Participate in application deployment validation to confirm functionality and stability.
- Partner with QA Analysts and leadership to prioritize testing initiatives effectively.
- Advocate for quality-first engineering principles within the development team.
- Support manual testing efforts when necessary to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Adhere to established testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with Angular-based applications.
- Proficiency in automated test development using .NET, Selenium, Java, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI testing.
- Mobile test automation expertise using Appium.
- Familiarity with API testing methodologies.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- In-depth knowledge of different testing types, including functional, system, and integration testing.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 3-5 years of experience in automation testing within a structured development framework.
- Experience with Micro Front Ends is a plus.
