Interim Senior Human Resources Generalist (ID:46562)

A forward-thinking organization seeks an experienced HR professional to provide strategic and operational support in a high-impact role. This opportunity involves managing complex employee relations, revising policies, and ensuring compliance while driving HR excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach, adaptability, and expertise in navigating HR challenges with an equity-focused lens.

Worksite Location: Brooklyn Center, MN – Primarily onsite, with one hybrid day per week. Only Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead employee relations investigations, providing expert recommendations and resolving sensitive cases efficiently.
  • Revise and update the employee handbook, creating and refining policies that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with the cleanup and organization of HRIS personnel files, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Monitor and support integrating new HR processes into the organization's daily practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to address immediate and strategic HR needs, offering guidance and actionable solutions.
  • Provide hands-on support in HR administration, compliance, and operational processes.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of end-to-end HR generalist experience, with a strong focus on employee relations, compliance, and HRIS administration.
  • Proven track record of managing intricate employee relations cases with discretion and effectiveness.
  • Expertise in policy development, including creating and revising employee handbooks.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments, assess priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with diversity and cultural competence, ensuring HR processes and decisions align with equity principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Neogov and JD Edwards or the ability to learn similar platforms rapidly.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a diverse team.
