A global safety and specialty services leader is seeking a People and Talent Operations Specialist to join their fast-moving HR team. This newly created role offers the chance to shape and enhance HR processes within a growing organization.

Worksite Location: St. Paul, MN - Onsite 5 days a week; ONLY Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted resource by administering company policies and addressing team member and leader inquiries
  • Triage and resolve ServiceNow tickets or escalate to appropriate Talent Leaders
  • Support internal promotions and job awards, including preparing offer materials and ensuring necessary approvals
  • Coordinate termination processes, including exit surveys, discussions, and post-termination inquiries
  • Monitor and maintain HRIS employee data accuracy, collaborating with the HRIS or compensation teams for updates
  • Assist with onboarding execution and provide leaders with onboarding resources
  • Manage employment files, pre-employment assessments, and SharePoint site updates
  • Conduct data mining and reporting to support Talent Leaders and VPs
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities while creating training materials

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role
  • Knowledge of HR and payroll processes, regulations, and HRIS systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • SHRM-CP preferred
  • Experience with HRIS/HCM systems (e.g., Dayforce, Workday) is highly valued
