Our exciting client is seeking an experienced SolidWorks Mechanical Designer for their Engineering team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- SolidWorks modeling of vessels, mechanical devices, automation equipment, conveyance equipment, piping systems, steel structures, etc
- Drafting of prints for steel fabrication (e.g. steel chemical process vessels, piping systems, and steel structures)
- Experience in the layout of chemical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Candidates must have a 2-year Associate's Degree in Engineering Drafting and Design (or equivalent) and 2-5 years of work experience in mechanical design utilizing SolidWorks in a relevant field
- 2+ years of experience with 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks.
- A Certified SolidWorks Professional certificate is not required but is preferred
- Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
