As the HRIS Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you will ensure seamless payroll and benefits operations while supporting the HR team and employees across multiple locations. You'll play a key role in year-end reporting, compliance, and process improvements while acting as a trusted partner to leadership and employees.
Worksite Location: Anoka, MN – Hybrid; ONLY Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage HRIS operations, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and efficient processes
- Process payroll for U.S., Canadian, and Belgian employees, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness
- Administer benefits, including enrollment, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and compliance reporting
- Track and manage leaves of absence, including FMLA and STD, providing timely updates and communication
- Collaborate with HR leadership to support employee wellness initiatives, safety programs, and appreciation events
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including ACA, 1095, EEO, and OSHA reporting
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve reporting systems
- Generate HR metrics and insights to support leadership decision-making
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of HRIS experience, with 2+ years focused on payroll and benefits administration
- Familiarity with Paylocity is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced data tracking and reporting skills
- Ability to manage sensitive employee data with confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or supporting shop-floor employees is preferred but not required
