The Senior Manager of FP&A is a key member of the corporate finance team. The successful candidate will help lead the annual planning process, including setting business targets, creating timelines, and consolidation reviews, and managing the financials for multiple business units. Additional responsibilities include creating Board of Directors presentations and assisting the CFO and Director of FP&A in ad hoc analysis. You will be a key player in facilitating the planning and forecasting processes and supporting other strategic finance projects. Seeking a candidate with finance experience, superior attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and being process-driven. The position also requires the ability to see the big picture and experience working with executives, including financial review and creating presentations
Worksite Location: Chanhassen, MN - Hybrid
Role & Responsibilities:
- Leads the annual planning processes, including updating long-range plans to set company and business level targets, coordinating reporting for Field review, G&A support, and creating executive review materials
- Performs monthly and quarterly review of actual results to budget and prior year, along with related variance analysis
- Creates Board of Directors presentations for the long-range model, annual plan, and quarterly meetings
- Leverages technology and prepares ad-hoc models and analysis to improve planning, reporting, and data processes and support operational and strategic business decisions
- Leads and supports team members through coaching and review
- Supports Sr Director of FP&A in implementing a quarterly forecasting process to provide guidance and assist with strategic decisions
- Works cross functionally with accounting, FP&A, and Workday team, to drive efficiencies in planning and reporting
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- 5 years of financial modeling experience
- 5 years of financial analysis experience
- Experience with other technologies like Workday, Power Pivot, Power Query, and Alteryx
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with Adaptive Insights and/or Hyperion Planning
- Prior leadership experience
- Previous experience in a total company support role and/or leading an annual planning process
