We seek a Systems Administrator to join our client's IT team and manage and support the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user systems. This role requires a mix of systems administration and desktop support, ensuring the smooth operation of technology across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and a focus on delivering excellent service to internal users.

  • 5 days a week on-site (not a remote or hybrid position)
  • $70-85K salary range

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee server and network performance, ensuring security, availability, and reliability
  • Perform routine maintenance, including updates, patches, and system backups
  • Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and resolve incidents proactively
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain clarity and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, supporting audits, and addressing vulnerabilities
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for end-users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, device configuration, and access permissions
  • Collaborate on IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and implementing new tools

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 3 years in systems administration and desktop support roles
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux server management, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization
  • Experience with network configuration, including switches, firewalls, and VLANs
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (preferred)
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation for operational efficiency
  • Certifications (preferred): Relevant credentials like CompTIA Network+ or MCSA
