IT Operations Support Analyst (ID:46356)
Showcase your general in-person technical support and troubleshooting capabilities as an IT Operations Support Analyst. This is a three month contract to start.

We're seeking a skilled IT Operations Support Analyst to join our client's IT Operations team. In this role, you'll be a key contributor responsible for delivering comprehensive software, hardware, and access control support to our broad base of internal users. As a senior team member, your expertise in managing Jamf, Google Workspace, MDM, and global IT support will be essential.

  • Three month contract (potential for extension)
  • $30-45/hr pay rate
  • Worksite Location: Minneapolis downtown – onsite 5 days a week

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ticket Management: Manage and resolve IT support tickets in Jira, ensuring timely response and full lifecycle support from start to finish
  • Backlog Contribution: Help address and reduce the backlog of Jira items, focusing on proactive IT operations improvements
  • Team Leadership: Act as a senior contributor, seeking ways to enhance team performance and contribute to organizational goals
  • Technical Change Awareness: Stay current on technical changes within our application stack and IT security standards. Confidently share updates with both technical teams and, when necessary, the broader organization
  • Hardware & Software Provisioning: Fulfill assigned hardware and software requests
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Provide IT orientation for new hires and handle IT offboarding tasks for departing employees
  • Audit Participation: Contribute to IT audit efforts related to access control, ticketing systems, and software vendor compliance reviews

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Experience: 6–10+ years in IT Operations or a similar role
  • Agile Familiarity: Comfortable with agile methodologies, including Jira ticket classification, task estimation, and agile workflows
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge in:
    • Google Workspace management
    • Jamf administration and configuration
    • Jira, including workflow automation
    • MDM solutions (e.g., ManageEngine, BeyondTrust), MacOS troubleshooting
    • Microsoft Office and third-party antivirus administration
