We seek a Lead Systems Engineer to take responsibility for M365, Azure, virtualization, server, and storage infrastructure. You will perform various design, deployment, and training tasks to ensure system performance meets business and user satisfaction. We are looking for a team player who willingly shares ideas and solutions.
Role & Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain Exchange, M365, SharePoint, DHCP, DNS, CA, IIS, SQL and complex environments, Azure, cloud, VMWare, storage solutions (SAN, NAS, etc.), including replication and backup strategies, both locally and into the cloud

Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking, Azure, and of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, SMTP, SPAM, etc.)

Create and maintain documentation

Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services by established objectives and best practices
-
Respond to inquiries from staff, service providers, site personnel, and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support

Administer systems and servers related to the network to ensure the availability of services to authorized users
-
Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services
-
Keep abreast of new data processing technologies and the latest trends, and assist in identifying applications for these technologies within the department and the company

Actively participate in professional development and education. Manage KnowBe4 education and testing

Perform tasks as assigned by management
Required Skills & Experience:

A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
-
Technical, analytical, problem resolution, and supervisory with strong interpersonal skills required
-
Office 365 with Azure system management required
-
Microsoft Server Applications including Exchange, SharePoint, IIS, and SQL experience required
-
Virtual environments required, VMWare preferred
-
Ability to contribute with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem solution and organizational skills with the ability to drive multiple projects to completion required

Proven Backup, recovery with Disaster Recovery skills
