A fast-paced, high-growth organization seeks a Compensation Consultant to lead their annual compensation process from January to April. This position will be critical in overseeing the compensation cycle for approximately 6,000 employees. The ideal candidate will have experience leading annual compensation processes, collaborating closely with HR Business Partners, HRIS teams, and leadership to ensure the smooth execution of compensation programs.

Worksite Location: Eden Prairie, MN – Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week). ONLY Minnesota/Twin Cities based candidates will be considered. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual compensation cycle, including configuration support for the Compensation Planning Tool (SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Prepare and audit data files, review eligibility matrices for programs like Merit, Incentive, and LTIP, and troubleshoot any issues in collaboration with HRIS partners.
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate testing sessions, and troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Serve as a resource for HR Business Partners, handling tier 1 inquiries related to compensation programs and systems.
  • Track compensation tool updates and manage data throughout the cycle, ensuring accuracy and resolving data irregularities.
  • Administer LTIP vesting and payout processes, including data import and communication support.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation management, particularly in leading annual compensation processes.
  • Strong collaboration skills with HRBP, HRIS, and leadership teams.
  • SAP SuccessFactors experience or a proven ability to adapt quickly to compensation planning tools is highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to support tight timelines, including occasional night or weekend work during peak periods.
