Our retained client is a privately held manufacturing company based in Minnesota that has been around for over 50 years. This exciting company provides high-quality packaging equipment and production services across multiple industries, and their mission is to provide premium products and services while cultivating a company culture of inclusion and opportunity. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Seek out, identify, and close new customers within targeted markets
  • Work with the internal team to create proposals
  • Close business while maintaining the expected margins of the company
  • Maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat and business
  • Go deeper and wider into accounts to gain more business from existing customers


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in outside B2B sales
  • Experience in logistics is required
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers
  • Proven ability with selling through a value-add approach
  • Experience selling a service into target markets
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and is self-driven to succeed
  • Proven track record of successful prospecting and closing of new business
  • 4-year degree preferred
