Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic CFO to join their executive team. The CFO will lead the company's financial strategy during this exciting growth phase, ensuring continued success and innovation in the industry.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial future. This position requires a seasoned financial leader with experience in private equity environments, a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, and a proven track record of driving financial performance and growth. The CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the company, providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure financial health and sustainability.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives, including organic growth and potential acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and private equity partners to define and execute long-term business strategies.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to support business operations and growth.
  • Supervise the Controller and ensure the finance team operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and drive business performance.
  • Analyze financial performance against targets and provide insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead cost management initiatives and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for private equity partners, providing regular financial performance and strategic initiatives updates.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, projections, and business plans to the Board of Directors and investors.
  • Support capital structure optimization efforts.
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets to support growth objectives.
  • Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning for acquisitions.
  • Develop and execute post-acquisition integration plans to ensure successful assimilation and If applicable, develop and execute post-acquisition integration plans to ensure successful assimilation and realization of synergies.
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the team has the skills and resources needed to support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence within the finance function.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or a related field; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with experience as a sitting CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of driving organic growth and leading acquisition initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of private equity dynamics and experience working with private equity partners.
  • Experience working with companies in the $50-$100M revenue range.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with executive leadership, board members, and investors. - Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on developing and empowering high-performing teams
